Pico Cribs #27 - Peggy's Dream Room.

Nunasarang's room: full view
nunasarang's Room.

I've been saving this room for my last Pico Cribs. nunasarang is so sweet! I met her when I logged briefly to get props at the Japanese Park. She was quirky and fun, we danced together and then went to ring each other's rooms. When I got to her room I almost died. If I could live anywhere, I would live here! Catero says it's like a "kawaii wet dream" in here and he's right. It's so CUTE, Hello Kitty would approve.

Pico Cribs: Pinkerton's Picks Revisited

WARNING: LONG-WINDED PINKERTON COMING THROUGH!

One of my favorite things to do on Pico has always been something simple: perusing through rooms and getting a glimpse at just how creative people really are. Because of this fascination, I eventually ended up doing a spin-off of sorts to Peggy's famous "Pico Cribs" called "Pico Cribs: Pinkerton's Picks." The way things worked out, though, only made it possible for me to produce a mere 3 installments of that segment...

manly tears

Now, it's no secret that PicoStyle is nearing its end in just a few weeks. This fact has prompted me to begin thinking about all the great times I've had on here and, more to the point, all the fantastic rooms I've come across while writing for the blog. Because of this, it inspired me to revisit a handful of the rooms I've already featured on this very blog. So, while there are plenty of eye-catching 'cribs' out there in Pico Land, this is to simply show how much some of them have changed over the past few months. Hope you enjoy it!

Nek... er, I mean... Happy Clover has always been one of the biggest supporters of PicoStyle. As such, I believe it's only right to let him go first. The previous image was taken during Halloween (surprise, surprise!). Since then, Clover has either stumbled upon a suitcase filled with money or married into a very wealthy family.

Look at all that gold! It's almost blinding, so be sure to put on a pair of sunglasses before visiting. He even has a 2nd room now:

An entire vault dedicated to guarding... things that are already hidden inside a box?! Whatever they may be, I'm not quite sure if I'm brave enough to find out.

See more after the break.

Pico Cribs #26

I know, I've been very bad... not bloggin' Pico Cribs. I've just felt very uninspired and erm... lazy lately.

I gotta get out of my slump and this room has done the trick!

TOMHIKO's Room

TOMHIKO proclaims in his profile that he is a story and I totally believe it. When I warped to his room I was awe-strucked! Bigger isn't really always better and TOMHIKO does a good job proving this. His room reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds for some reason. Haunting and very artistic... what he must have paid to earn all these premium gacha items or did he just had the misfortune of winning the same things over and over again? So he had to wrack his brain... leading to this creative room design... one will never know.

Either way, me likey! Check TOMHIKO's room <3

Pico Cribs #25 with AyuHime!

Our poor Peggy Hill is still a bit under the weather and has asked us to continue with Pico Cribs. I hope you enjoy my selection!

Room Owner: Redmoizzelle

Redmoizzelle's Bloodyred Palace is quite a sight! Hopefully you're not colorblind, because you're missing out on the splendor of this place. The entire room is dripping in red and certainly has an Asian Palace feeling, complete with throne and seating chamber. The owner has put so much work into make every little detail perfect and making sure it is in fact RED. Stop by and give her some rings!

Room Owner: Samantha你好想放假

Samantha's sky church is beneficent. With details abound, you're sure to be blown away at the beauty. The columns, staircase, altar, and balcony are simply stunning. No matter what you're celebrating, you will find this heavenly abode a lovely place to be.

Have a fun time ringing and exploring, loves!

Love,
AyuHime xoxo

Pico Cribs #24 with Jean Royal

Written by:

Hello Picostylers! This is me, Jean Royal. Today, I've been hanging around and I saw 3 fantabulous Christmas themed rooms!

So here they are ...

Onogina Hotel, Restaurant & Maze
Room owner: onogina

Wow-wow-wow! That's the only thing that I can say. And did you notice the purple Christmas tree? I wish my room could be as nice.

Benry's Café
Room owner: Benry

Imagine, being in the snowy city. Then you find a warm café and walk inside. Doesn't coming in from the cold and getting warm and comfy make you smile? This café may not look very Christmassy ... but you can still notice the little Christmas tree in the corner.

Ask my friends; I don't usually go to cafés (I think they're boring), but I could easily see myself coming here see me here to listen to my iPod and do homework.

Pico Waterpark
Room owner: ¶PЯ-¶⋛⋋紫紗姫系⋌⋚™

And of course, this is my favorite. It's just SO creative! I wonder how many countless hours the owner of this room spent doing this.

Like the RO80 robots in the Flea Market that sell blocks say, 'It's time to be creative!'. I love the presents in the tree. It's different! And if you look closer you'll find a jukebox in the tree! Isn't that a great idea to add some atmosphere (maybe imitate the birds)?

Pico Cribs: Pinkerton's Picks #3

peggy and pinky

Have you been wondering "where in the world is Peggy Hill?!" If so, you probably aren't alone. When she's not cheating on Pico with Pigg, she's busy with work and a handful of other things. She has places to go. Things to do. Pie to eat. Because of her hectic schedule, she gave me the honor of doing a Pico Cribs update for today. Now, I know the title says "Pinkerton's Picks," but on behalf of Peggy I am going to start with a room that she stumbled upon. And what a room it is!

PC 3 - 13 1st room

Room Owner: 13 -

Once you enter this room, you'll feel as if you've been transported to an actual winter wonderland. There's snowflakes in the air, benches to sit on while admiring the freshly fallen snow, and even a little cabin to keep our Picos warm. Oh, yeah... not to mention a giant tree! It's as if I can really smell the pine needles just by looking at it. Actually, that might be my pine-scented candle that I'm smelling, but you get the idea.

PC 3 - 13 2nd room

This is the 2nd room, which is just as nice as the first. I'm guessing that's some sort of ice castle in the corner, but I'll let you decide for yourself. Also, I like the fact that the giant gift box is placed directly at the entrance so that you end up being the present. Make sure you bundle up before heading on over to see these two rooms for yourself!

PC 3 - peach bi bo 2

Room Owner: peach bi bo

Staying on the theme of winter for a moment, this room will kick off my picks for the week. Completely the opposite of the room above, this one is nice and simple... and you know how I'm a fan of simplicity when it's done right. I've always enjoyed peach's room for what it is, but now that some snow has fallen I figured this would be the perfect time to talk about it. I've come across a lot of trees on Pico, but very few have been as much fun as this one. Why, you ask?

PC 3 - peach bi bo 4
PC 3 - peach bi bo 3
PC 3 - peach bi bo

That's why. If you decide to travel there now, though, you will notice the tree has transformed!

PC 3 - peach bi bo 5

I can't wait to see what other tree variations peach has in store for us down the road. And yes, I just used the term "tree variations." Never thought I would.

PC 3 - pizza 3

Room Owner: Sanji サンジ

Hungry? If not, there's a slight chance you might be after seeing this room. Sanji サンジ has decided to satiate every Pico's appetite by creating a gigantic pizza. As the room description used to describe it, and as you can probably see, this has 3 different types of cheese... so much that it started dripping off the pizza and onto the floor. Mmmm, floor cheese.

PC 3 - pizza

Usually I like keeping pizza to myself, but this is one you'll want to share. Trust me.

PC 3 - pizza 2

... well, for the most part. Chike and I still battled over who would get the crust. The room description now states that there will be a "new dish every month," so make sure you head on over to get your share of the pizza before it's gone!

PC 3 - pirate 2

Room Owner: ☆~Ruby Moon~☆

Fan of pirates? Fan of ships? Fan of seeing how creative people can be by using blocks? If you said "yes" to any of those, I highly suggest putting on your best pirate gear and sailing on over to this room.

PC 3 - pirate

Yeah, the official Pico ship docked over in the Caribbean Seaport only wishes it was nearly as awesome as this one.

PC 3 - pirate 3

There's even a miniature ship (pictured above) where you can make the best pirate entrance since Captain Jack Sparrow sailed into Port Royal.

俺の名を言ってみろ
俺の名を言ってみろ's Room.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! 俺の名を言ってみろ, can you build another room with Godzilla? :D My favorite part, the spaceships! Any room with spaceships has a place in my heart, I still dream of one day piloting myself into space.

This room is totally right up my alley, go check it out!

Pico Cribs #22

Cribs Cribs
Ahnana Banana's Room

Sometimes when you have a winning setup there's no need to change it ever. Ahnana's room reminds me of just that. Her living area and bedroom are works of art, both rooms are decorated in a very distinctive styles that are spot on. Ahnana's room use to change quite often but that has all stopped with this current layout. Hey, why mess with a masterpiece right?

Pico Cribs: Pinkerton's Picks 2

Oh, hello. Did you miss me? It seems like such a long time since I've updated! Along with talking about the usual new additions to Pico, I always enjoy doing at least one other "fun" update every week. Today, I decided I'd do another installment of Pico Cribs... Pinkerton style. And, this time around, a few of my very good friends decided to venture out along with me.

Like last time, I'll be putting the owner's name directly under the picture of their room. If you are curious and want to visit the rooms yourself, simply copy and paste the name into the buddy search on Pico.

PC 2 - lukinas

Room Owner: Lukinas

This has to be one of the most creative rooms I've come across on Pico. The best part? This dragon is created entirely out of blocks. I actually stumbled upon this room a couple months ago, back when there was a large castle being attacked by a dragon. Now, though, Lukinas has expanded his room and completely dedicated it to housing this mythical creature. When you muster up the courage and climb higher, you will see this:

PC 2 - lukinas 2

Notice the little house? That was one of the prizes for the last room contest. He certainly deserves it. We aren't done yet, though. When you hop on over to the 2nd room...

PC 2 - lukinas 3

... you'll be greeted by a large zombie. Who thought we'd ever be able to simulate and prepare for a zombie apocalypse on Pico? I certainly didn't, and that's what makes this so great.

PC 2 - risader baloo

Room Owner: Risader Baloo

Yet another exceptional use of blocks. Visiting this room is like falling down the rabbit hole all over again. Here, you will see two familiar characters and a table for your very own tea party.

PC 2 - risader baloo 2

There's a whole lot to enjoy about this room, but even the small detail of the way the table is angled is a nice touch. The fun doesn't stop there. You can climb up onto these gigantic characters (and tree) as well!

Hagu, Fall & The Ora-Bora and Peggy Hill Love Connection.

Hagu. Hagu. Hagu.
Ora18 & Peggy @ Hagu's room.

Halloween is over but for those who will mourn it's passing, you can visit Hagu's room because this lovely lady is keeping it alive for us in her second room. She continues to be one of my favorite interior designers in Pico. The few Halloween items cleverly set out on display on the bold green checkered floor warms my heart!

Speaking of heart warmers, Fall, at least for me (maybe I'm biased because it's my favorite season), is the season for love. I know most of you will argue it's Spring that brings out all the love bugs and such... but you all know I'm right! Hot chocolate, getting tangled in winter scarves, getting fat together as you stuff yourselves silly... C'mon! Feel ittt----- feel the loveeee!

This being MY season of love, I thought I'd give a shout out to one of my favorite young ladies in Pico, Miss Ora18. Ora-Bora... you're the sweetest. -Sigh- I'm such a fangirl for Fall and there's only a few more weeks of it. I purposely left out pictures of Hagu's first room because I want you to GO VISIT IT. I secretly think that Hagu is also a fan of my favorite season, want proof? Visit Hagu's room :P

I'll leave you guys with a song and my over zealous anticipation of Ameba Pico's November 4th Scheduled Server Maintenance... they are asking me to, "Please wait with anticipation." Ameba, I'm over zealously waiting in anticipation... don't disappoint. -whispers- Hello Kitty...

Pico Cribs: Pinkerton's Picks

Most of you are probably used to seeing Peggy or Gem write the Pico Cribs updates, but I (Pinkerton) have free reign of it for today. As such, I'm going to showcase a handful of some great rooms that I've come across recently. Not just any rooms, though. Oh, no. The rooms I've chosen this time around have a common theme: Halloween. Since the holiday is now only a couple days away, I suggest you visit these rooms and enjoy the Halloween decor while you can. Oh, and if you haven't seen my Halloween edition of Celebrity Sightings yet, what are you waiting for?!

Before we go on, take a moment and say the title of this update out loud 5 times fast. Done? Don't be embarrassed, because I couldn't do it either.

PC - halloween 1

Room Owner: Happy Clover
Room Name: Happy Clover World

This first room is nice because it's simple. It might not have a ton of Halloween decorations, but it has just enough to get you in the Halloween spirit. If you are lucky, the owner will be there to greet you and serve some food from behind the counter... or maybe even pick you some fresh fruit from the two trees in the room. What? The owner looks like who? Hmm, I don't see it. I think he's missing something...

PC - halloween 2

Room Owner: Tiά™
Room Name: Tia's Halloween Room.

As with the previous room, sometimes simple is a good thing. To me, this is definitely simplicity at it's best. Just the right amount of balance between the decorations and the space she has to work with. I suggest you visit this room at night, though. Why?

PC - halloween 7

That's when the ghosts come out. Yes, they are derpy, but a cute kind of derpy nonetheless.

Pico Cribs #21

Picoween.

Halloween is only 5 days away and I thought it would be nice to feature my favorite room decked with all things Halloween! Hagu, voted one of the cutest pico ever by Logout, has created the BEST Halloween room. She's edited it since I've taken these screen caps, so--- stop by and have a look! You won't be disappointed!

Pico Cribs #20

Danny Yao Danny Yao proves the point that you don't have to go big to do something spectacular with your room! His Chinese Park 520 has been in the works for awhile and I've very much enjoyed watching as his hommage to Spongebob Square Pants grows taller and taller... Danny has chose not to upgrade his room to a bigger size and instead, creatively works with the limitations. I love how colourful his creation is and I hope he continues to build upwards into the sky. Eventually, if he keeps going even the skyscrapers in New York City will look puny in comparison! Check out Danny's room and if you like it as much as I do you can now Favorite his room like I have!

Danny Yao

I love it!
